1913

When on May 2, 1913 Mr. Alejandro Quiñonero Muñoz and Mr. Zacarías Salazar Mouliaa , Mayor of Lorca and Director of the General Agriculture Station , respectively, signed the agreement by which the Tiata and Purias farms were transferred For their destination to teaching or agricultural experimentation, they could not see that the results of said action would end up being fulfilled to the extent that is evident with the evolution of the Center, especially since 1970.

1970

Indeed, since in 1970, with the name of Centro de Capacitación y Experiencias Agrarias, the doors were opened to the formal training of technicians and the continuous training of farmers and ranchers, as well as to agricultural experimentation, the Center has not It has ceased to be a regional and regional training reference, and even national, constantly promoting technological advance and modernization of the agricultural sector, from training, information and technology transfer.

Undoubtedly, the relationships and collaborations with other entities and companies of the agricultural productive sector, mark a constant presence in all its actions. From companies that suggest continuous training programs to train their operators or participate in the practical training of regulated education students; up to the set of Professional Agrarian Organizations, with their direct participation in the Continuous Supervised Training or in the Technology Transfer programs; passing through universities and organizations dedicated to research, with which the Center has collaborated in the development of innumerable tests and projects; they form, among all, the framework in which the progress of all the objectives the Center has been fulfilling is possible.

1997-2020

If until the 1997/98 academic year, the Center had adapted its training offer to the professional teachings that the current legislation established at all times, first with those of Agricultural Foreman for, later and until that date, with those of Professional Training of I and II Grade; From that moment on, the Middle and Higher Degree Training Cycles have made their way in the trajectory that is maintained to train young people who keep the agricultural sector in their labor focus. In this regard, the Center currently offers the Middle Degree Training Cycle of Technician in Agricultural Production, as well as the Higher Degree Training Cycle of Higher Technician in Management and Organization of Agricultural Companies, and the Higher Technician Cycle in Livestock and Livestock. Assistance in Animal Health, of Higher Degree, with which the Center hopes to complete its training offer in regulated professional education.

With the publication of Decree 56/2008 , on Integrated Centers, this Center, from that moment, recognized as an Integrated Center for Training and Agrarian Experiences (CIFEA), takes another step forward in the educational aspect, as It incorporates Occupational Training into the teachings given so far.

It is essential to make a special reference to the fluid and effective relationship that, in the field of regulated training, is maintained with the I.E.S. Saint John Bosco , to whom he is assigned, for the purposes of regulated professional education. An enriching relationship, inasmuch as it is not only sustained by mere administrative procedures, but also the collaboration links in cultural activities are permanently open.
